1. Overview
Flicky is a link-aggregation service — it stores URLs and publicly available metadata (Open Graph title, description, thumbnail URL) of short-form videos. Flicky does not host, store, or distribute video content.
We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid notices of copyright infringement in accordance with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), the EU Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market, and the Korean Copyright Act (저작권법).
2. Reporting Infringement (DMCA Take-Down Notice)
If you believe that content associated with a link saved on Flicky infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to:
Designated Copyright Agent:
[TODO: Your Name]
Email: [TODO: contact@flicky.link]
Your notice must include all of the following:
Identification of the work — A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works.
Identification of the infringing material — The specific URL(s) within the Flicky app or website that you believe infringe your copyright (to the extent reasonably practical).
Your contact information — Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
Good faith statement — A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
Accuracy statement — A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Signature — A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or person authorised to act on their behalf.
Incomplete notices may not be acted upon. We may share your notice with the account holder whose content is reported.
3. Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to the same address above. Your counter-notification must include:
- Identification of the material that was removed and its previous location.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and phone number.
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the district where your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which Flicky may be found).
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10–14 business days, we may restore the removed material.
4. Repeat Infringer Policy
We have a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. A user may be deemed a repeat infringer if they receive multiple valid DMCA take-down notices or otherwise repeatedly post infringing content.
5. Korean Copyright Act (저작권법)
If you are a right-holder in Korea and wish to report infringement under the Korean Copyright Act, you may:
- Submit a notice to us at the contact above; or
- File a report directly with the Korea Copyright Commission (한국저작권위원회): https://www.copyright.or.kr
6. Good Faith Use of This Policy
Please note that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorney's fees.
